AVE MARIA: OD SLOVENIJE DO SVETA / AVE MARIA: FROM SLOVENIA TO THE WORL
V cikel koncertov ob četrtkih ob 17.00 v ljubljanski stolnici smo vključili tudi izbor nekaterih najlepših slovenskih cerkvenih skladb, posvečenih Materi Božji. Na koncertu AVE MARIA: OD SLOVENIJE DO SVETA vas bosta sopranistka Petra Vrh Vrezec in organist Gregor Klančič popeljala od nežnih melodij »Lepa si, Marija« in »Mati moja, venec pletem« do svetovno priljubljenih Ave Marij. V objemu stolničnih obokov bosta glas in zvok orgel pričarala trenutke miru in duhovne bližine.
Our concert series every Thursday at 5 PM in Ljubljana Cathedral also features a selection of Slovenia’s most beautiful sacred works dedicated to the Virgin Mary. In AVE MARIA: FROM SLOVENIA TO THE WORLD, soprano Petra Vrh Vrezec and organist Gregor Klančič will guide you from the tender melodies of Slovenian Marian songs, including “Lepa si, Marija” (You Are Beautiful, Mary) and “Mati moja, venec pletem” (Mother Mary, I Weave a Rosary), to some of the world’s best-loved Ave Maria settings. Beneath the cathedral’s vaulted ceilings, the human voice and the resonant sound of the organ will create moments of peace and spiritual connection.
